You decide to take a group of mostly Yellow, Blue, and Green Pikmin with you into the dungeon. Blue for any water that may be down here, Green for bridges or anything else you may need, and Yellows to deal with the electrical energy. Out of all of them, you're glad you brought the yellows and blues the most- you're mostly just glad you didn't bring purples, as they could have messed up the weight distribution in the more precarious parts...
Once you've gone through the dungeon, connecting several electric lines with yellow pikmin holding hands, and defeated a few simple enemies- little water dumples that try to take a bite out of your pikmin. Not so fast!
At the bottom of the dungeon, you find the prize. And it's a load of... fruits. Small round fruits, Dusk Pustules, you call them, which are totally useless to you with your current large food overhead. Darn. But on the up side, you did find something else.
These dark berries seem related to the extremely spicy berries you found in the hidden lush garden- but instead, these ones are bitter. The same enzyme is twisted on its head here. By synthesizing it into an aerosol spray, you can now create a large area of extremely bitter, unappetizing spray that will cause larger creatures to be temporarily stunned or even paralyzed as it overloads their senses. Small creatures, like Pikmin, seem to be mostly immune to it. With these berries, you can synthesize a good two or three uses before you'd need to come back to the Blue Bay to restock.
With that, you head back out.
