Ryan lightly taps his palms together, miming applause without drawing too much attention. Most of the other recruits and noncombatants in the cafeteria are already staring at you.
"Squid should be treating him now, and once he's awake, we can have him carry out our number one objective: Healing Bella and restoring her avatar back to a usable state. And if possible, my leg too."
<span class="mu-s">"And then that'll get the bots off your back. No more nagging at you to get a checkup."</span>
You nod.
"Ryan, Gizamon, we couldn't have done this without the two of you. Without Gizamon to draw the attention of those BEMmon, we would have been overwhelmed. Phascomon might have had to burn his energy earlier."
<span class="mu-s">"Cutting it close as it is. So good work."</span>
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Thanks."</span></span> Gizamon mumbles from within the Digivice. You detect a hint of satisfaction in his voice.
"And Ryan, you really clutched it when we had to deal with Datamon. How'd you figure out what to do?"
He rubs the back of his head sheepishly, but you can tell he's happy to have helped. Phascomon's pixel sprite leans towards the screen as well, curious to hear what he did.
"Well, I recognized the type of wiring that was in Cutemon's side. It was the kind that Squid was using to electronically manipulate Bella's skin surface. So it had to have a charge."
"And I severed it with the scalpel..." You muse.
"Yep. It was a bit of a long shot, I didn't know if the voltage would do the trick. But the filtration is usually in the endpoint, right? Like the plug head, or maybe there's a control panel to reduce it. Without one, it's just a cable full of power."
