Maza ducks his head, and allows the gravity-enhanced momentum to carry him into a backwards roll. He rolls back onto the balls of his feet, planting his hands palms-down on the ground and stopping his momentum. He's up as well! But who will make it to the machine first? “HA!”
“Tch!” Broly seethes through clenched teeth, as despite being the first of them onto his feet, he seems unable to take a single step. Maza, from all fours pushes himself quickly upright, and takes a step forward. He nearly loses it as he steps, his entire body lurching forward, but he manages to catch himself before he can fall back to the ground.
You see Broly trying to move as well, his entire body trembling as he does his best to move forward. But it seems Broly's at his limit; barely able to stand much less move forward. But his face isn't that of someone who's giving up, quite the contrary.
“I'm. Not. Gonna. LOSE!” Broly roars, emerald aura blazing around him as he struggles to raise his own power further. His veins bulge in his arms and forehead as he strains against the unyielding gravity. Maza turns, glancing over his shoulder to see his brother's aura blazing wildly. And sees Broly take a single step forward.
“You're not gonna beat me!” Maza says, turning back towards the control panel and surges his own demonic energy, taking another step forward as well. Both kids struggle forward, reminding you of how Karn Jr.'d struggled to walk this morning. They both keep moving forward, painfully slowly yet inexorably towards you and the panel. Broly closes in on his brother, and both lunge forward towards the panel. Each one throws a hand forward, you watching as they slam their palms against the panel simultaneously.
Unfortunately, Broly's hand hits a dial, cranking up the gravity as Maza confirms it. As you realize what happened, the gravity's pressure suddenly <span class="mu-i">doubles</span>, slamming down onto you all. Broly and Maza are floored, and despite your power feel yourself being dragged down as well. If you don't act quickly, all of you will be floored permanently. So before you can fall you lunge, slamming your palm onto the emergency kill switch. You hear the gravity machines powering down, and as that weight is lifted off your shoulders let yourself collapse to the ground, panting in exhaustion and closing your eyes. That could have gone poorly.
“You guys done already?” Future Chaya asks, opening your eyes to see her and Ace both standing by the three of you. “Wait, hold on. You all were training at THAT level?! No way! Looks like I gotta step up my game too!!”
