They talk to him about the strength of Ta ships, able to carry vast cargo, and since Meri was the master of the sea, they had sought her for permission to create vessels for Zorule. Meliton now had the same sway over the Miew, so he strikes a deal. He will have the Miew share their shipcraft knowledge, in exchange for Zorule helping unblock the two rivers, so Wepta may be unflooded.
