TalOS looked upon the results of his most recent experiment with a small ounce of excitement. Information was being loaded into his databanks and he was waiting for the results to finally come in. As he did so he looked over towards Vera, +You can move now.+
+Thank you.+ The Pariah said before walking away from the target area and going to her Father’s side. She then picked up a small cable and jacked it into her skull to get the same information readings he was.
Data was slowly thrown into her mind and the girl’s eyes widened as she saw what was being seen. An image captured by a human brain through human eyes that once belonged to a psyker. Said psyker was currently trapped in a metal container surrounded with psi crystals that were keeping him alive and semi-lucid at this point in production.
+Is that… what is that?+ She asked as images of herself were being seen.
+That is, if I am to believe it, your soul.+ TalOS said with excitement.
The study of blanks was a long and arduous one. Many theories were being tested and failing but few were as concrete as what TalOS was looking at now. Normally when a Psyker looked upon a Blank they would see a massive torrent of darkness that forever tried to eat them whole. But that was not the case here, for TalOS had used the many lessons learned on Xana to hack into the brain of the Psyker.
What TalOS saw was a perfect mold of a person, the lines exactly where Vera existed. He noticed that even her bionics were contained within this ‘outine’ which was likely because her soul had synched with the Machine Spirits. TalOS then had the Psyker remember what he looked like, which while not black like Vera TalOS’s form, was almost the exact same. His soul encompassed where he was, though slim slivers were traveling to where TalOS guessed his sons were.
+This confirms it, that Pariahs are not souless but those who bare souls.+ TalOS declared as he looked upon the systems, +If that is the case, then it is scenario 12, that a Pariah’s soul is simply not connected to the Warp.+
