>>6212014>Do we get a choice about which kingdom we steer it towards?Yeah, but I thought it might be best for me to choose this to keep things going smoothly.
>Service Guarantees Citizenship isn't a bad policy. This isn't a vote that we steer the discussion towards this one but can we get a list of where we've been and what we know about? My idea here was to have Rey tell the anecdote of her time in Gwalchmai, the breadbasket of the Allied Kingdoms. Land of feasts, wines duels, and mercenaries. Your mother ended up dueling a nobleman who kept insisting on having her hand in marriage by shooting him in the shoulder.
There is also Kreszen, the frontline queendom bordering the Cursed Swamp. Here, all peasants are encouraged to stay armed and train for their local militias, monsters can even earn genuine freedom and citizenship.
The independent dukedoms beneath Kreszenz are near-lawless lands one bad controversy away from being directly absorbed by the church. This is a land of violence, abuse, highwaymen, and opportunism. It's not as bad as Eliaures mostly because the rulers are lacking in wealth.
And of course where you are now, Fallerin. Land of passion, conflicts, chivalry, and leadership. Place three Fallerinians and ask them which pair of colored socks are better for a hard day labor and you'll have an endless argument, but the people have also been known to move mountains whenever they can agree on something.
Eliaures is the source of a major trauma for Rey, not a good place at all.
I'll begin writing soon.
