>>5296895>Talk about tanks and their repairs.“Let’s talk tanks then, shall we?” You ask as they make themselves comfortable.
“Tanks are a good subject,” Yukari nods. “I like tanks.”
You laugh and offer her a fist which she happily bumps. “I meant the tanks we lost in the last match.”
“I knew that,” Yukari replies immediately, you pretend to believe her. “We lost seven tanks. A pair of Jumbos, shark team, Rabbit team’s M6, a JagdPanzer, a Challenger, and Anteater’s Chi-Nu.”
“That’s almost half of our frontline strength,” you frown. “As far as I know we have 6 tanks sitting in reserve?”
“Two are CVs, one is a Type 89, and one is a B1 Bis which are effectively useless,” she looks around as she says that, making sure Duck team isn’t around to hear her belittle their precious Type 89.
“So, we only have three useful tanks in reserve?” You ask, getting a nod in confirmation. “Well, at least we have a reserve, huh?”
“That still leaves us four tanks down, never mind the quality,” Miho says. “That also doesn’t consider the tanks that are operational but damaged.” She looks out to the warehouse, and you can’t help but cast an eye out to Werewolf who took several nasty hits in defence of the flag tank.
“Which other tanks were damaged?” You asked.
“Yours,” Hana says immediately. “Far worse than any other tank. The closest to it is Leopon’s Tiger which barely took a knock.”
“So, what can we do?” You ask.
“We can swap out three knocked out tanks for reserve tanks,” Mako mutters. “Then we should easily be able to repair the other four in time.”
“We couldn’t repair all six in time?” You ask.
“We’d either need outside help which is expensive, or all hands-on deck during practice which means no extra training,” Miho says.
