I had a weird idea. Everyone remember at some point we talked about the potential to make armor out of the ghost demon things? Well no, the ghost is in the ship, but David thinks this one is a demon.
So. Making armor from the corpses of demons and ghosts. How should we go about it, and how much should we use? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I vaguely recall some method of leather or fur tanning where you use the brains of an animal instead of the other stuff. It can work, but it's not as water proof are modern made leather. Maybe we could do the same thing here where we would use the brains of what we kill, mixed in with turpentine and other leather treating materials to make leather. Then, we could use the bones in some capacity. Grind it up to a fine powder, super compress it with a printer into a dense material to use as either additional armor, armor studs, or chain links. Something. Hmmmmm. I'm not sure what to do with the blood and other organ bits. Maybe blend it in a very, very fine liquid and use it to quench metal with for additional armor or a weapon. Then we use the remaining blood slush to bath everything in a sanguine bath before letting it hang to dry.
I'm bored, but these demon and phantasmal creatures make me think. Does anyone have any better ideas?
