>>5766422“It's a long story.” you say, tapping the side of your head. Then, telepathically, you quickly lay out everything that happened. From waking up surrounded by the frog-like Hydae to them erecting some sort of magical barrier that cut off your senses of the outside world, to the backlash of destroying it with Spell Breaker and combining Miyashi's Berserker Soul with that of yours from the other reality with Divine Dragon Force, your battle with the Supreme Kai of Time and the rest of the Time Patrol, Dumplin impersonating Mechikabura to finding out that the Demon God now has all seven of the Dark Dragon Balls to restore his youth and power. Chilli's brows furrow as you tell him the last part, expression darkening before he asks a question.
“So, does that mean there won't be an attack on Conton City?” he asks you, still telepathically. “Or will he still do so, buying him the time he needs to complete his transformation?”
“I don't know.” you reply, when suddenly you have that familiar sensation creep up your back of being watched. But, as you turn towards the source, see not an enemy, but family.
“Our apologies for being so late, we ran into a bit of an emergency.” Towa says, the mother of your half-demon children giving Chilli and you a smile.
“Heya Chilli, long time no see.” Future Chaya says, to your surprise walking around in her base form. Something she usually doesn't do when leaving the lab. “So, where's the little squirt?”
“She's over by the giant wolf.” he answers after a moment, pointing with his thumb over his shoulder. “Name's Ranga.”
“Right.” she replies, walking past you all directly towards the giant beast, Ace following behind with a nod to your son. Towa, meanwhile, walks directly to you, hugging you as if she hadn't just seen you last week.
“I was so worried about you.” she whispers, to your surprise. “When I couldn't send Chaya or Ace in to help you in your timeline, I feared the worst.”
“Come on, you should have more faith in me than that.” you tell her aloud, adding in telepathically. “So, she did do something to stop anyone else from entering the fight.”
“Yes, she had to have used a spell from the Time Nest, isolating your timeline from the rest the moment she entered it.” she answers, confirming that it wasn't your ONLY chance to defeat the Time Kai. Having a body in two places would of course have kept her alive, no matter what you hit her body with in this one. Even Divine Dragon Force, were it awake, couldn't have truly erased her for good. “But even when she lost consciousness, that barrier still didn't fall.”
