Sadly, the Marines must press onwards, even with Laqura’s warning. It is their sacred duty as Marine Pilgrims to spread the ichorous word, even in the face of great dangers. They, who have died in the ice and were reborn, saved, carry on a sacred oath, one which can never be fulfilled, and for which they shan’t waver from. Even if they are to die again, in the dark, away from the lantern’s light.
They must press onward.
>The Marine Expedition gives their farewells to Laqura, Godomoloke, and the Granchpolpo, and move forward, toward a dying spark of divine lumber, into the belly of dragons. Hopefully not literally.>The Children gladly welcome the Daemu into the fold, and bring them on the long journey to Darkwood and Whitefall, to help stow their seeds and begin new life there. And, mayhap, to return to the Marine Expedition, when the Daemu thriving in the North was without doubt.
