“Armored cars coming to the front,” Krasnyy’s hull gunner shouted- the crude old Petrakoran vehicles lacked even basic things like intercoms, so old and neutered were their arms from their uprising, even then. “Looks like machine guns.”
Pathetic. Not even worth the effort of pulling a trigger on. Yet, they were an unacceptable interruption from the true contest, and the 2-centimeter hull gun and cannon both were plenty capable of fending off light opposition. That had been the conceit of the vehicle, apparently, when it had been designed- as an opponent against a great quantity of lighter armor, escorted and aided by its specifically designed companion vehicles…a pair of booms behind. The companion vehicles being blown away, by ordinance far beyond them. This annoyance in front, however-
Krasnyy found himself waking up, dizzy and lightheaded- daylight. His experience told him what his senses didn’t- hit, by a large gun indeed to break this tank’s armor.
Interrupted again. Damn. Not here, though- he scrambled out and into the open. Not yet…another time, when he wouldn’t have to rely on the detritus of fools…

The battle progressed to a more legible state- as portions of it ended. North, the battle against the Twaryians using captured Petrekoran equipment came to a close with the conclusive effect of the m/31K and T-15s’ heavy guns. At that same place, though- an unfortunate development. The unknown tanks declared by Yule to be part of a contingent of “Paramarines,” had laid accurate fire at Lieutenant Fiskersonn’s platoon as they approached.
Incredibly sharp, Fiskersonn had to admit, admirably- even as he had to do so while his vehicles were being dismantled. Had the end come for him..?
No. Not quite yet. The enemy cannons were powerful- too much so. When he was hit, he and the other crew were afforded a chance to get out. He made ready for another deadly salvo- but it didn’t come…the enemy was withdrawing. What luck that he might have been their last shot, came the spiteful thought…
>Fiskersonn's Platoon is out of action, but the commander is only wounded- may take steps to reform after battle
>Turn is Open
Down to the wire again. I'll have more to write when I get back tonight.
