TalOS knew that once the first Acillian placed forward their bid to become a Tech Priest, the floodgates were to be opened for all of his sons. It is quite reasonable to consider when one thinks of it for both the Acillians and the Tech Priests that took them into their fold.
The Acillians, after serving their time in the Proelitor, would have a chance to ascend past their ranks into an organization that they had always looked up to. Those who did not see themselves in the ranks of the Acillians or saw advancement as a Tech Priest more comparable took the opportunity to ascend into the greater ranks of the Priesthood.
For the Priests they were getting biologically engineered apprentices. These were men whose minds were created to function at a level comparable to TalOS, meaning that each of them were vastly more valuable than the standard human. This of course did not mean the Acillians were smarter than the greatest of Priests, but many realized the higher concentration of geniuses among the ranks of the Acillins. These facts made them perfect for Priests who seeked to cement their legacy by making the ex-Proelitor their heir.
However to TalOS any fears that the Acillians would accidently take over the Priesthood were non-existent. While an Acillian Priest might have a greater base due to his genetic engineering he was far from the most perfect Priest. A Priest who was both competent and augmented can easily prove themselves greater than the Acillains. Thus his sons were not instant victors, only having a leg up in the eternal challenges that drive every Tech Priest forward.
The barbaric actions of cell harvesting were easily destroyed once the funds were obligated to the new subsidy regime. Fewer Nobles were willing to pay for such dangerous goods when the Censors were watching their transactions. As for those who did not comply, they were turned into a lesson for others by the new Department of Internal Census of Knowledge.
TalOS took the moment to look over a gory account of a man forced to age while also being forced to remain in such a decrepit state. It seemed whatever Anali who administered that punishment had a twisted sense of humor and knowledge to commit such an act. If he ever met this man, TalOS will need to commemorate them.
As he looked over the information he received a message. TalOS expected something to come, but he did not expect what was to really happen.
