“Oh yeah, I forgot I’m hungry.” You have to admit that after cooking and carrying this thing, your tummy has been complaining more than Vera. “You know what kind of Pizza this is?”
“No, but you gotta tell me regardless.” Yu Yan smirks. “I wouldn’t mind just keeping this between us. Bust it out when we need to celebrate something.”
“Meow.” Bradford Jr. likes that for some reason.
“Do you want some, Round Fellow? Can Cats eat cheese?” Yu Yan ponders as she dangles a piece of the most special pizza you’ve ever done in front of your pet.
“Yu, he’s on a diet.” You don’t want her to give your cat any pizza.
“Since when do you care about diets?” Yu Yan is totally puzzled. “I mean, I should ride this wave, I’m glad you’re a responsible pet owner, and you should bring this energy to the other things you do. Sorry, fluff boy, this is for humans only.”
“Meow…” Bradford Jr. understands, but he had a smidgen of hope.
“I can give you pats though. After this, I don’t wanna wash my hands again.” Yu Yan continues beating down your poor pet’s hope.
“Meow……” Bradford Jr. is let down again.
“Don’t be a drama queen. I have enough with the ones I live with.” Yu Yan chuckles. “Okay, enough darts thrown. Tell me more about this succulent pizza, Stud.”
“It’s Gravenriden Pizza.” You say.
“Yo! That’s where I come from!” Yu Yan’s eyes are wide open.
“You know where you come from?” You didn’t expect this.
“Yeah, I never made that clear? In all honesty, I have no recollection of what the place looks like, and I definitely can’t point it out on a map, and I’m not even sure if it’s in this country OR a country, but —and this is a Scarlet-sized but— I know a couple of cold hard facts about myself! Like my full name!” Yu Yan reveals. “That’s how Osgood — God have mercy on his soul— could work out the fake ID. I told him what I knew. Well, he never made it clear it was for the ID, I just thought he was interrogating or some shit. This has nothing to do with muscle memory, but I’m glad I kept something in here.” Yu Yan taps her forehead.
“Huh, that explains why we got your actual surname.” You never thought about it until now.
