A colossal length snaked out of the sea, roiling like a serpent below as it cut the waters in a fast approach to the tower. Even I was brought pause at advent of a potentially furious deity like this dragon! The divine fired out from the waters below in front of us all, easily larger than the whole lighthouse, and the island around it, rising to the sky. And with a regal bellow...

...the seas died at her command. The fury whorls of the ocean stilled, and all became as a flat plane below. The sky continued to heavily rain, and the priest besides me fell to his knees in an instant in god-fearing reverence. Wolfboy skidded behind me, shaking slightly as those flaxen yellow eyes fixated upon it.
The goddess above had a great cyan mane flowing behind her brilliant golden horns, and teal scales lining her long body like a suit of impenetrable armor. She growled as she lowered her snout closer, whiskers whipping like strings, coming just close enough that we could all feel the hot breath she puffed out from a wrinkling nose.
The growl I heard demanded to know why she was called here... but then she sneaked her gaze behind me and saw Wolfboy, and retracted her head, suddenly interrupting her menacing composure with a surprise as she hissed out.
[WOLFBOY] "Y-Yeah, it's me, mom! It's me! I stopped being a big dumb! I'm not causing trouble anymore! I promise!" He said as he stepped out from behind me. "What I was doing was very bad, but she-" He said, pointing to me. "-SHE came and showed me that! Now all I want... is for you to not be so angry anymore either, moooom!"
[SHENNU PRIEST] "OH MIGTHY RYUJIN! THIS HUMBLE SERVANT MUST ATTEST! THE IMMORTAL IN THE CLOAK! SHE HAS SAVED US FROM WOLFMAN'S WRATH AND REKINDLED OUR FAITH IN YOU! NOW ALL WE WISH IS TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN ON THE SEAS! PLEASE, RYUJIN! WE BEG YOU! SPARE US YOUR WRATH!"
[SHENNU] "...!"
The dragoness couldn't find the words for the moment. It was like she couldn't believe what she was hearing. But then she snarled again, and jerked her head back in disdain.
[SHENNU] "HOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRR!"
She was still resentful of mankind for their actions. It was at this point, I chose to address her myself as I stepped forward and raised my hand at her.
'Why must men suffer such a wrath, Shennu? What have they done to offend you so that this hate must go on for so long? The tales they have told me... They respected you so! And always felt at ease on your oceans, knowing that you saved mortals from their demise at the depths once! Why hate? What's the point in hating?'
She showed me teeth.

She demanded to know who I was, that I assumed I could know a god. She had no idea, and I would give her one.
