Needless to say, she’s overjoyed, and… almost crashes it the moment she gets her hands on it. Cheelai is able to ease her into trying to handle it with more care, and thankfully the second attempt doesn’t almost break the thing.
Darutanias is still moping over near the rock you all left him while all this plays out, so looks like he’s still… just gonna be doing that. Right then. Well, you’ve got something else to work on, before you head to Z’S. You have the twins bring out some of the stolen Leon units on a nearby island, giving them a look-over. Five in total, shaped like that lion mech you fought on Z’S, though each seems to be modified a bit. There are a lighter blue one and red one that the twins have claimed as their own, leaving a yellow, green, and black trio left.
“They were to be used in the lead-up to Towa’s so-called Promised Day.” Basilea says in a grim voice. “The grand scheme to ‘restore the Demon Realm to its former glory’ and all that nonsense.”
“But they’re ours now.” Haru Haru states assuredly. “And I guess we can share ‘em for a short while.”
Cheelai approaches them and looks them over a bit. “Only these colors, huh? No purple?”
“Oh I’m sorry, I’ll head right back to the Cult of Luud to convince them and the Machine Mutants to make some more in your preferred shade of color.” Shun Shun responds dryly.
“...Couldn’t you just paint ‘em?” Bon Para asks bluntly.
“NO PAINTING THE LIONS WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION!” Shun Shun yells, steam venting from her arms and head.
“Okay, okay, sheesh!” Cheelai says as she backs up a bit.
