Depending if we can have this turn and a few more, anyone wanna discuss the actual structure of our worlds? Roboute was able to make every planet in Ultramar towards his personal utopian ideals, such as lack of pollution and minimized overcrowding. Surely we can do even better.
We've got our Federation, we can try to fine tune it.
Some ideas:
>Subsidize Tech-Thrall Regiments, so that our Skitarii stop being the grunts and start being the elite troops they were always meant to be
>Adjust Servitor Standards: Promote a Culture where they aren't seen (only) as punishment, but a noble final act. Akin to Purgatory or Repentias, where they earn piety through true service witout pain or fear. Even a peasant in his older age can earn both spiritual favor and a stipend for his family by submitting himself to become one rather than corpstarche. Only the truly wretched heretics go into Thallaxi
Knights and Nobles have golden and fancy servitors in the lore for example, that don't look (as) horrific. Plus we can move them away from the peoples eyes. We are no longer starving, and we have many new Agri worlds, 3/4s of them fuedal and 1/4 being high yield as was agreed with them before. Seems a waste to grind up good material for fresh workers and troops
>Separate Servitor/Techpriest planets from organic populations. Thereby forge worlds, mining planets and others no longer need to sustain a biosphere or be concerned with pollution. Mining worlds can be established faster by avoiding the need for terraformation and atmosphere creation.
>Encourage every system to have a balanced amount of Agri, Hive, Forge and Fortress Worlds (Farmwelt, Stadtwelt, Fabrikwelt, Festungswelt.) so they are more sustainable during a siege. Hive populations retreat to the fortress worlds for armament into militia where there is time and food is stockpiled in the fortress worlds, rather than the agri-worlds
>Subsidize Ogryn Abhuman Planets on Heavy Grav worlds
I really want to see this in particular happen. Ogryns are just flat out better than humans in all regards except intelligence, and we can fix that in so many ways. We're the genetor after all.
Seriously a tabletop Ogryn model is comparable to a Space Marine! (3 wounds and 4 attacks each, not to mention Strength 6 Toughness 5). But instead of tedious decades of training and weaning out, you just feed them and shove a gun in their hands and put a Commissar next to them. Only we can do better even than that. Just imagine if we armor them up so they have +3 saves just like marines do.
