Frank lost control of the car in that fatal moment, the wheels screaming bloody murder as the two of them went into a tailspin.
"OH JESUS FUCK STOP FUCKING THE STOP THE FUCKING CAR"
"I CAN'T STOP THE CAR YOU FUCKING NIGGER AIE AIE AIE"
Thinking quick, FELLA slammed down hard on the brakes and started spinning the wheel with the car's direction. GUY slammed his foot onto the glove compartment (so his stash of highly illegal weapons and drugs wouldn't spill out) and clung onto his seat and anything else for dear life. There was an ungodly screeching noise, from both the wheels and the two completely losing their shit.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—"
The van stopped moving with a final heaving rattle.
There was blood on the window and a tooth embedded in the glass. Nothing could be heard but the sounds of two men breathing heavily. The City went on around them.
A helpless thought shot through the haze of stress in Frank's mind: this was the Company van. The Handler was going to tear him a new one when they got back to HQ.
"Frank," GUY said after a little while.
"WHAT IS IT BENNETT," FELLA snapped back.
"What are we supposed to be doing again?" he asked skittishly, his rabbit ears forward.
Frank turned his head, staring right into Bennett's eyes, or where they would be behind the stupid-looking rabbit mask. For a split second, Frank thought about putting his hands around his neck and strangling his long time colleague on the spot. Instead, he flicked on the windshield wipers, red smearing like melting lipstick, and gathered his thoughts:
