TalOS watched as Trig slowly became more and more worn down from his excitement. TalOS, having complete control of the device, caused a great many of the planets to move faster and slower based on how close the child was to them. A beast would have kept doing that thing but Trig was human, thus he took notice of the ball and quickly ran over to take possession of it.
With a smirk TalOS had a servo-skull emerge from nearby and pick up the ball. It was then the chase was on as the child tried his damndest to catch up with the Servo-Skull and get his prize. The machine however did not grow tire which was something the child did not enjoy the luxery of.
After a few minutes of this the child simply gave up with a huff and walked over to TalOS. The child took over TalOS’s left leg and decided now was the time to use it as a pillow for himself. As for Vera, she had fallen asleep as Trig was growing more and more worn out. She had taken TalOS’s right leg
It was then that TalOS heard a pair of footsteps behind him. Based on the volume of it projected and the fact that none of the Acillians had an issue with this person coming in meant, +Is there something you need of me, UZ1?+
+I did, but it has since sorted itself out.+ The Adept said as she walked in front of the Arch Dominus with a pained, confused, but ultimately charmed smile, +They are… cute and terrifying. I had heard of the tales of psykers but these children are far more dangerous than a simple psyker.+
TalOS nodded to her as he brushed Vera’s hair, +They are, as if I understand the Genetor correctly these two’s ability to nullify the warp and cut men off with it will only grow stronger. It is to their luck that we found them because otherwise both would have died as monsters.+
+They are the best weapon against the real monsters, correct?+ UZ1 asked as she got onto her knees and examined the two for herself, +I don’t like it. They hold so much value but their simple ability makes me want to hate them. Only through the blessings of the Machine God am I… sane.+
+Never let it be said that the Universe is kind to the Followers of the Machine God. He is but one part of this Universe, making humanity his chosen people. We fight a great game on behalf of the Machine God against all the other gods of the universe.+ TalOS reached over and picked up Trig into his hands, +Can you grab Vera?+
+I can.+ UZ1 answered as she reached over and lifted the girl from the ground.
They walked out with TalOS collecting the small device from the servo-skull.
