You shrugged. “I always thought that the Human Torch was pretty cool. Why?”
After Phin explained what his plans were, your jaw dropped. You were more than eager to let him work on your suit for a few more hours. In the meantime, you decided to kill time by grabbing a bite to eat in a Vietnamese restaurant. It was only then that you realized just how quiet things were without Cindy around.
Okay, that was a stupid thought, but your heart was in the right place. Without Flint, Vic, Pete, or Cindy, you were once again reduced to a life of solitude. It really hadn’t bothered you this much until you moved in with your sister. Maybe you were starting to get soft.
Yeah, that had to be it.

By the time you’d come back, Phin was just putting the finishing touches on your suit. He assured you that the resulting explosion wouldn’t burn you or damage your suit, but he did go through the effort of replacing your pouches with a more heat resistant material.
You thanked him and asked him what you owed him for the job, but he just shook his head and said that he’d take his cut out of your profits. When you inquired further, he went on to explain that he’d also finished calculating the price that he was willing to pay you for the equipment. And you nearly fainted, right then and there…

Transaction: $32,000,000
Funds: $34,010,423
After you started hugging Phin and forcing him to dance a happy jig with you, you were promptly kicked out of his shop with your new gear and a suitcase full of money in hand. There was absolutely no way to seem inconspicuous when you were hauling as much cash as you were right now.
You were on Cloud 9. At the top of the world! In fact, the only thing preventing you from skipping all the way home like a giddy schoolgirl was your ability to web-swing. It certainly saved you some embarrassment, and a bunch of time avoiding mid-day traffic.

When you got home, you were greeted by an excited Cindy Moon, who was now holding a soggy bag full of water and silver bullets. You tossed the bag aside, and forced her to start dancing with you, in Phin’s place. The two of you were so busy celebrating that you forgot to inform Felicia and Prowler of your financial success. You still owed them a cut of the proceeds, and then some. If you didn't have prior arrangements, you totally would've taken Cindy out for ice cream.
But as night rolled around, you and Cindy finished your preparations and headed out to meet with Annie, instead. You were now much more confident about your chances of impressing her tonight.
