Man, you were left really, REALLY confused by this... experience. You’re not sure if what happened was an hallucination or something else, but it was so extraordinarily out of this world that you can't stop thinking about it. Even your hunger has stopped being a concern! There's much you don't understand, and you wish you did SO badly... but Hawkodesh is right. You can’t get lost in these thoughts. You are definitely talking to him about this sooner or later, but for now, you must attend to other stuff... such as the now-healed Ruby, who stares into your eyes with an awestruck look. She's in much better shape now, a sight that makes you satisfied.
You smile and gently boop the distracted rabbete's nose to get her attention. It takes her a few seconds to respond. “Oh my God… oh my GOD!” Ruby takes a deep breath to calm down. “That was... that was AMAZING, champ! I... I can't even describe what I'm feeling! Just WOW!”
“Glad to be of help, Ruby.” It’s nice to help another creature. You should do this more often.
“See? Hyeny is the champion! Try to deny it now!” a smug-looking Daitza yells at the shocked dwarves staring at you. Sadly, you doubt they understand Gnollish...
“Im… IMPOSSIBLE!” the spearsman yells, his jaw dropping to the floor and his eyes popping out of his head in a ridiculous way. “That gnoll just casted a healing spell! How can this be?!" He shakes his head. "No, no, this must be an optical illusion... I REFUSE to believe my eyes! This cannot be true!”
“That’s your own problem, dude.” George, who was murmuring a silent prayer with his eyes closed, jumps in your defense. “There’s no doubt that this gnoll is the Champion. Whether ye like it or not is a different matter.”
“But…!”
“No buts, digger! I’m tired of hearing yer dumb ass excuses!” He speaks out to all the dwarves, who listen to him with skeptical ears. “Y’all gotta stop being so damn stubborn! You’ve seen what this gnoll is capable of! What more do you need?!”
