TalOS stood at one side of the field with a host of both Astartes and Acillians cheering him on. The dread that they all felt when TalOS first walked among them was quickly being washed away by the sheer amount of emotion that was carrying itself through the air. An intoxicating sensation that TalOS realized was the reason so many crowds were taken over by this force.
When one’s soul released it, it would spill into another’s soul. A repetitive cycle that caused bloodlust within civilian populations to rise to an apex of slaughter.
For today it will not reach that. As TalOS squared up against his fellow, the two of them stared at the other.
+Venerable Voch, I have read up the records of your battles in both your previous life and your current one. A fighter in the deserts of Europa and the first to step upon an alien world.+ TalOS said as he finished the calibration of his mechanrites, +In your current like you have killed thousands of Aliens and man alike, serving alongside by Father in his earliest of years. For one such as yourself to challenge me first is an honor.+
+My honor is to spar with my Primarch.+ The old machine declared as subtle breaths, +I was of the Legion before the Burning Anger, now I stand before you rid of it. That time though has tempered me, so that I may stand before you are a warrior!+
+Come and make your strike, for you have fought a thousand battles both inside and outside your blessed form. Show me the veneration of a veteran!+
TalOS spoke those words which were responded to with the blowing of an airhorn. Such things were not standard on dreadnaughts, which meant that the Venerable Voch had one installed because he saw the Titans and Knights had it as their warcry.
With a sweep of his hand TalOS brought out the Omnissiah Axe that was given to him by the Fabricator General himself. He felt the powerfield of the weapon begin to light up to his silent prayer, which was enough for the Primarch to brace for the coming impact.
The fight was on, and TalOS already knew the result.
>Defensive plays, test out their aggression
>Fight aggressively, they are going to be guardians after all
>A balance approach for balanced measurements.
