The night came and went, Guilliman having slept upon the planet of Lucius. Even while he slept the Primarch could feel that he was on an alien world from his own of Macragge. Underneath the planet there was an ever burning star which always crept up through the earth and into the bedchambers that Guilliman had taken for himself. He did not know if this was to be a comfort or something to be cautious about as he slept.
Such was the cost of the alieness. Guilliman in the end still had the mind of a man. When things are occuring that he could barely understand there was that subtle piece of fear that always crept within it.
When morning came and Guilliman arose he quickly set to motion the numerous activities of his people. Giving out a series of commands and resolving issues that had occurred during Guilliman’s stay away from an immediate astropath. It did not escape him that most of the issues he was resolving today were only matters coming from the ships above.
His eyes shifted up through one of the many windows which dotted the Mechanicum’s manufactorium. Through it Guilliman could see the Flagship of TalOS, what reports said was the Blackstone Fortress. Reports were that it suppressed Psychic activity within whatever region it was in.
It was a symbol of Lucian dominance, but also one that caused unparalleled isolation from the rest of the Imperium.
Guilliman held his vision upon the Fortress for another moment. He could feel it, just a little bit within his mind, the presence of TalOS’s creation. It weighed upon him like a blanket which struggles to suffocate an adult. It will not kill him, but if anyone was just that little bit sensitive then he would imagine they would be fighting for their lives.
When his immediate issues were resolved Guilliman once again acquired a toga and left his place of stay. His brother had requested that Guilliman come to his personal manufactorium.
