>>5644986You stand and watch for a few moments before realising that this is your chance. They’re too engrossed in the scene in front of you to still be paying attention to what you’re doing. Slowly, and then more surely, you back away from the corridor. They don’t notice. You start walking backwards more quickly, and then once you’ve reached the last intersection, you rush at random down one of the corridors.
You don’t know how long it’s been when you finally stop. A few minutes? Maybe longer. You didn’t hear any shouts or gunshots. You got away with it. You quickly open your backpack and grab the stone. You ignore the case with the knife in it. Wonder what that does. You put the stone in your mouth and wait. It dissolves, quickly, almost like chocolate. You blink and suddenly you’re back in the D-Sphere, Ron standing in front of you.
“Hey! You’re back. Was starting to get a little worried there. You good?”
You quickly nod in response and take a step back. All you managed to grab was the knife, but you know there’s some non-Foundation operatives running about somewhere, plus got to experience the anomaly first hand. What should you do?
>Tell him everything, and show him the knife. Maybe he knows what you should do with it, or maybe something to trade?>Say you weren’t able to get to the storage room and didn’t find anything. You want to keep this to yourself.>You need to warn the guards! You need to get some kind of word out at least. Ask Ron or some of the other D-Boys to help you out. >Write in?
