“Yeah she is, she can't deny her feelings at all.” Alric laughed and sighed. “And she knows that I know. But I guess she has started to enjoy this game we play.”
“Game?” You asked as you started to recover from the blushing.
“I mean, how serious is this compared to any of the politics or fighting we do? Just a bit of mostly harmless fun.” Alric said to you.
“I guess, but she definitely still wants you, lusts after you.” You said and held Alric’s arm a bit tighter. “It just feels off with all the gifts she gave me.”
“You think she has other motives? Most likely she does, but now you have a sword to keep her that length away.” Alric replied. “If she really just wants to give them to you because you saved my life, I don't buy it, that sword is way too grand of a gift. She has her plans, I am sure of it.”
“But just to accept them?” You asked.
“Yep, to keep her happy.” Alric mused.
“The ring then?” You asked. “What does it do?”
“On alone? Nothing. But servants of Katrana recognise the ring and they will help you if needed. Ask Nalice, she can tell you more.” Alric told you.
You sighed, you didn't like Nalice. That mage knew way too much about things she shouldn't know. And it was under her watch that Alric nearly died and ended up with the Fel inside him.
“I still don't fully trust her…” You said and continued. “She is too…”
“Seductive? Starting to regret the permission you gave me?” Alric said and looked at you. “I noticed you gripping my hand a bit tighter, are you jealous?”
“N-no!” You muttered out. You were a bit jealous, Katrana was a really beautiful woman.
“Or did she… Malevus… you enjoyed looking at her?” Alric teased.
“It was a phase when I was young!” You protested.
“Shame shame your loss.” Alric laughed as your blush returned. When he was drunk he really liked to tease you. “You know something. I really don't care where things go with her, because I have you.”
“T-that's sweet for you to say…” You mumbled.
“And because I can…” Alric said and leaned closer to whisper into your ear.
He was going to do what… then that… kiss you down there… and then…
“Alric!” You protested hard as you felt like exploding. “You can't tease me like that!”
“Of course I can and I will. Because I know you have a wild and vivid imagination. And now for the rest of our walk, that's the only thing you can think about.” Alric said and laughed. “So keep those words in your mind.”
His laughter echoed on the streets as he was right. You felt warm inside of you and couldn't shrug the words away. But that was fine, you loved Alric even if his teasing was quite effective. You sighed while barely holding yourself together.
He was perfect, your Alric.
