>Have the artsy/creator types and high Observation employees look over the fabric given by Velvet. See if they can get away with feeding a portion to the Detective for analysis without consuming the whole thing.
You check the medbay section that Kor is still resting in. Half of his face is bandaged, with some drooping flesh still visible on the other half of his face. You sigh, thank god you stopped it from getting any worse.
He's looking at the piece of fabric alongside Hirose and Arthur. He pulls on the fabric as hard as he can but...the fabric barely moves an inch doing so.
"Hm. Velvet doesn't usually act like this." Hirose grabs the fabric and tries cutting off a section for detective consumption. The combat knife is doing a remarkably poor job of cutting through it, he gives up after a few failed minutes of cutting.
"Remin..." Kor gurgles as he clears his throat. "Remin' me of R-Corp ponch. Bulletpruf stuff, tough as SHIT."
Arthur blinks, before snatching the piece out of Kor's hand and taking a long look at it. "Holy shit, I don't think he's wrong."
"'iber patterns look similar, eh?" Kor chuckles. "Not my expertise, but I 'now it well."
"Y-yeah, this stuff costs like nine months worth of our paycheck." Arthur nervously pulls at his collar. "Shame it's only, like, barely enough to cover my palm..."
"Hm. Boss doesn't want us to consume it wholly. Guess it'll be in storage for now." Hirose shrugs. "Unless you guys have something to cut it with?"
"Aside from the holy sword-" Kor flinches at the mention of it. "-or the fangs they're making, not sure if anything could?"
Huh. Bulletproof? Tough as shit? Nine month paycheck levels of cost? You don't like being given something this valuable for basically nothing. Something about this feels...off.
>Hand Isabelle AFYN at the beginning of the invasion for it’s duration, off of Presley
>Ask Employee I for her thoughts regarding the use of AFYN as a trainer for Employees.
Administrator --> Employee I
ADMINISTATOR: We're returning him to you now. I have a question to ask you, though.
INDIASIERRAALPHA: What. I'm busy.
ADMINISTATOR: Due to a recently discovered aspect of AFYN, we plan to boost the speed of training our employees by prolonged exposure to AFYN.
ADMINISTATOR: Your thoughts?
INDIASIERRAALPHA: ...I would prefer having him to myself but I know he wouldn't want me to be too clingy.
INDIASIERRAALPHA: Can I at least have him during off time?
ADMINISTATOR: I'll think about it. For now, you'll have AFYN while you prepare for the invasion.
INDIASIERRAALPHA: Okay. Thanks.
Not really much of a firecracker like she used to be. Hopefully it's just stress from the invasion.
>Prepare TAS to be used
>Ready the Beast
>-4 A-Energy, activating Beast at Hour 5.
The two objects in question are being transported to the frontlines. If nothing else, you know you tried. A single message appears on the beating, throbbing heart as it is transported with the Beast.
