Men and Women wearing heavy Hazard Gear and Equipped with Military Grade Weaponry, consisting of Rifles and Flamethrowers, exited the first two Vehicles. The last three held people in normal working clothes consisting of cut resistant overalls together with heavy boots and gloves that looked considerably more like civilians.
“Mr. Fu i take it?” the leading Exterminator asked and offered the Martial Artist a hand in greeting.
“Names Kataguri and we heard you had done some work against mutated giant spiders. We are here for the cleanup. Since you know the property could you show us around a bit?” He was friendly but it was very clear that he did not really take Kais Claims seriously.
That did not really change when they stepped into the Treeline and found the first Spiderwebs.Kataguri had to admit that they were large but not unusually so. They were attacked once or twice by some Hatchlings that had still managed to survive but on the whole the place was hauntingly empty. The giant Spiderpuppet was still convincing and a small Team stayed back to make sure that it would be cleaned up and properly disposed of or returned to where it came from.
“You said there was a giant Matriarch that you killed… Where is her body? You couldn't have eaten it. Something would have remained of her.” the Man asked quite confused when they reached the chamber of the Matriarch. Considering the giant Eggs they had seen on their way here he was convinced that the threat had been real but the lack of truly giant spiders was a bit disturbing.
