“Love?” she repeats.
“It’s like… using the desire to protect the people I care about, the ones I love, as a sort of ‘emotional fuel source,’ if that makes sense. A drive that can push me beyond normal my normal limits.”
She gives you a sort of amused look. “You’re using Love as a power-up?”
“Love is powerful!” you declare in near-protest. “And being in love has made me stronger.”
Cocoa smiles and states, “That’s exceptionally cheesy.”
“Just because it’s cheesy doesn’t make it wrong.” you respond, cheekily smiling.
You get comfortable again, and the ride continues. With a mischievous grin on her face, Cocoa asks you, “Hey, one more pair of questions?”
“Go for it.” you respond.
“All righty. Mine is… if you say you’ve trained it, why does this still get a reaction outta you?” Cocoa gently pets your tail.
“Hhhyyyaaahhh!” A tingle travels through your spine as you sit up, now blushing and pouting at her. “Cocoaaaaa!”
