“It is best to leave the matter of the Emperium to those who have interacted with it for the thousands of lives they had. It is callous against many factors that make his lessons worth far more than mine. I only know how it is abused, not how to control oneself against it.”
“You speak as if you were a Primaris Astropath.”
“I did learn their lessons, second hand.”
“Omophagea.”
“That is correct.” TalOS admitted as he gave a small chuckle, “It is a useful tool but is also the greatest danger if used in the wrong manners.”
“I shall keep such words of wisdom in mind upon my employment of it.” The 20th Primarch declared as he hummed to himself for a moment.
TalOS took a moment to study his brother. Against the Machine Spirits of the Mk. II plate he wore the Primarch was trying to disguise himself to TalOS. Subtle bloodflows were slowing and hormones were starting to balance themselves. These were not hostile actions but tests in an attempt to subvert TalOS.
Such tactics were something he used against his brother Horus, TalOS noted, so he could not really be the one to complain when it was employed against him. It only made the Primarch realize that the 20th Primarch was a dangerous one. Someone who had immediately taken in the chritizim that was handed to him and started employing it.
If TalOS allowed his brother to leave his abode like this he could only imagine there would be an eternal war between the two of them. Where TalOS and the 20th dueled with their wits of TalOS trying to seek out his brother while the other dodges it. If TalOS was completely honest to the core of his person, he would have killed the 20th if he had the man not be his brother.
To have someone in the shadows when TalOS looked behind each and every one of them. Now that TalOS was aware of the other it was only a matter of time before he went back into the shadows. Today it was a simple game but tomorrow it might not be.
Thus, TalOS had to decide on another thought entirely. Something where if two brothers wish to seek to increase trust between one and the other it was always done. From the times of pre-void humanity to this very moment.
