>Order Boxer to pull back, and engage them when they begin deploying. Risky, since it lets them get closer, but it’ll be easier to pick off the droids when they’re out of their transports. You give your orders to Boxer. He’ll hit them when they start deploying for the maximum amount of damage, since they’ll be unable to counterattack when they’re still deploying from their armoured transports. Risky if they manage to overwhelm him, but you trust he’ll be able to handle it. He’s an ARC Trooper after all.
As soon as you finish you hear Joyce call out next to you.
“Good hits, good hits!”
He’s watching the artillery come down. As you turn and raise your macrobinoculars you can see plumes of smoke rising in the distance around the facility, and a few seconds later you hear the explosions.
“Spread is wide. Could be more concentrated.” The comment comes from Loge this time. You notice that the artillery targeting the bunkers and turrets surrounding the main wall of the facility are taking damage, but enough that some will still be operational. Still, a good chunk of the bombardment has breached the wall, which should make it easier for Shade and his men to make an assault. All in all, a good performance for your men’s first taste of combat.
You can see droids still moving about in the base, thrown into alarm by the bombardment. Looking down the road, you can see Shade and his men are more than halfway there by now, Fisher’s men a little behind. You’ll probably have room for one more bombardment before it becomes danger close for them.
With that taken care of, you decide to check on Boxer’s situation.
>Boxer. Status report. It takes a few moments, but Boxer’s voice soon comes in on the commlink.
“MTTs have crossed the bridge. Beginning to deploy West of the road. Will engage shortly. Boxer out.”
>Copy that.Only a few moments later you hear the sound of blaster bolts in the distance, a little to your south. Sounds like Boxer and his men have opened up.

-10 for shinies. +10 for catching them unprepared. Note: -10 will not apply to second dice.
