TalOS listened to the people as they gave their affirmations and oaths. Each and everyone of them confirmed to the Primarch that he was indeed right about his thoughts.
That of course did not ignore those who did vote against him. TalOS would not worry about them yet as they did not break any rules going against him. But they will be watched for if they did start spreading the faith on their own initiative then that was going to be a problem.
Soon the results were in though, +Let my following words be struck into metal for all to remember. To those who purposely spread the faith of the Cult Mechanicus in lands that are not directly owned by the Cult Mechanicus, let them be Anathema.+
And with those words safety was brought to the planet, at least a short safety.
In both the short and long future this event would be remembered within the mass databases of the Cult Mechanicus. Many Forge Worlds would look upon this assembly and either affirm it or not, finding themselves in need of these trials even upon their own planets.
In the future when one attended Mass, they were created by the Surrogate. A person who can be described as a mouthpiece to the Adept of whom they served. Their ranks was filled with people who their adepts found amenable to standard humans, and whose duty was to guide others instead of looking at the mysteries directly.
Their Manufactoriums would soon be filled with people. Faith being a rare commodity these days and one which took to the populace like wildfire. Though attendance was not maintained by quite a few, doubly so with it not being enforced, but many remained knowing that their prayers might actually be heard.
An odd effect that happened was the subtlety noticeable migration to the Federation. As the Imperial Truth was not placed at its ultimate goal, those who had fleeting faiths heard of the land of the Machine. Those who did not care much for the faith of others and instead the tithe the people give them.
These populations were there, some even trying to convert others to their cult. While you can follow your own faith the Cult Mechanicus did not take too kindly to those who might lead their cults astray. People were people after all, and it was made clear to outsiders that the Federation was a place where your faith will only die in peace instead of the brutal war the Emperor brought. Only the Imperial Heralds who came of their own initiative were immune to this, but they quickly found that the Mechanicus was not like other faiths. Their miracles were real, at least when a common man looked upon it.
