>G-City Kusigawa Research Labs Subject 54a Toma Hasegawa was experiencing a living hell. Every single nerve in her body was screaming for release but the hardened shackles of the mind control device allowed no sound to cross her lips. She did not know why she had been recalled from her mission before it had even started and as such her mind suffered in silence building resentment against the one inflicting this torment on her.
Dr. Kusigawa was working furiously at improving her physique in conjunction with some of his assistants. New Organs were grown only to be replaced with Bionics that could take their function over only somewhat successfully, causing ever more agony. Adaptive Nerves were rewired to improve her Multitasking abilities. The first twitches of fresh agony along those nerves caused a sympathetic howl from the Turbine of a Drone on a nearby table. The Doctor was not happy. He would have to reduce the compliance protocols to make place for the extra Server Space required in Subjet 54a’s head. Latency was important when it came to a fight, doubly so when the enemy was as fast and deadly as Project Yawann 230 and it's newfound support Squad. And any less brain matter risked reducing his subject to a vegetative state that would be unbecoming of one of his Enforcers.
Subject 54b Togawa Hasema was not having a much better time. However unlike Toma she did know why this pain was necessary. Her Mind was consumed by anger and hatred at the three things that had not only defeated but humiliated her. The Test tube she was in shook slightly as she tried to tighten Hands that were not her own around the throat of a Yawann-230 replica.
The thing that wore his face croaked a plea for mercy that was ruthlessly crushed by the razorsharp talons her new body would have. However, instead of satisfaction all the implants in her brain rewarded her with was more pain, hatred and anger while constantly forcing Yamas Face into her brain and conditioning her into unreasoning blind rage.
While the two unknowing twins were upgraded and experimented upon, for the next few weeks, Dr. Kusigawa had already dispatched two more combat Cyborgs. While they would at best slow the K-City Knights down for a bit they would gather more valuable data on their weaknesses and strategies.
