You ask where the grocer is, and if it's close to the mansion.
"Thinking about grabbing a snack before your tour? Well, it's relatively close compared to some of the other stores I guess." Patty says, "The grocery store used to be somewhat in the center of town, so lot's of people built houses around it. Most of the population has moved more south or into housing developments, so a lot of the old homes are being torn down for more commercial space."
You notice that the mansion, the mine, and these haunted old houses all seem to be around the forest. You ask if anything mysterious or supernatural ever happened there.
"You know, now that you mention it not really. It did used to have wildcats in there, but they're long gone now." Mel remarks, "Either hunted or made off for greener pastures."
You thank the pair for their time, and they wish you a happy ghost walk.
You and Tamako walk over to Zul, who is still walking along the bookcases. You inform her about the Gravel City ghost tour and what Mel and Patty said.
Oddly, Zul doesn't seem to have much in the way of words for this. She simply stares at you for a second. You aren't sure what the look means, but it's oddly appraising and apprehensive at the same time. To break the silence you ask if it's okay to go on the tour.
"Yes... Let's follow your intuition." Zul says, rubbing her chin. "I've never heard of anomalies attracting other anomalies, but then again most anomalies aren't alive."
A little surprised, you say you thought only fairies could sense anomalies, and ask if she is sure you are attracting it.
"Yes, I thought only fairies were drawn to anomalies, but isn't it strange that we've only been here an hour or so and you've already got several leads all pointing to the same place? Either we are being set up by the entire town or something is drawing us towards the mansion. If the anomaly is there we can all but confirm it."
