>Go talk with Cedalion
The meeting with Cedalion was long overdue.
You had to inform him of Frankie and the new types of chimera.
It would probably require discussing the entire fate of the Remnants.
You had already taken steps to rebuild, and now you had in mind who you were doing it for.
You let yourself be guided by the unthinking chimera towards the colonel's office.
The corridors of the fortress left behind the rotten wallpaper and changed to broken tiles and pure concrete.
You entered the sections of the building built with the aim of surviving the apocalypse.
You opened the door to his office as you have done many times before.
A large room full of computers, many out of order, and some androids following the commands of the chimera.
Cedalion moved around the room, checking that tasks were being performed to specification.
The table in the center of the room had only the function of formalizing the start of a meeting.
When he saw you he didn't seem surprised.
"Good afternoon. I think we have a lot to talk about, General."
You sat on opposite sides of the rotten wooden table.
An entire segment of the furniture had broken off, adding to the neglected appearance of the entire place.
"I've met the new chimera..." he said, measuring his words a lot.
"What do you think? New species that seems to be actually glad to be alive."
"I will not argue that point. Maybe in a few decades she can replace me."
Cedalion sighed.
"But not wanting to live this life wasn't always the problem. Rigek is a good example, he enjoys his job too much.
And he's giving us trouble, he's not finishing his mission to recover mining equipment because, I suspect, he's enjoying the war against the Ferals."
"What is the solution?"
"Send someone over and have them relieve him."
"Are you going to go personally?" you asked
"No, there's another problem. Some Democracy scavengers are circling the capital again.
Another expedition I haven't had time to assess. I need to be around to lead the few troops we have here."
There was many things happening, but maybe you could gain an edge thanks to them.
"What I can do?" you asked your last question.
"Whatever you are willing to command, General."
What will you do? (You can combine options if they do not exclude each other.)
>Send someone to replace Rigek (Who?)
>Call Rigek back
>Send someone to assist Rigek (who?)
>Send someone to deal with the Democracy expedition (Who?)(target)
>Use the acid mist on the expedition (Kill most of them)
>Go personally to fulfill some task (which one?)
>Write in
