The being that was now TalOS DAV1S had changed drastically from the last form that Ahriman had seen the Primarch. Where once his skin was tanned by the ever battering sun of his home world, his skin was clearly made of some form of steel. His robes still bellowed in the windless tunnels of the Webway, while a halo made of wings sprouted out of his back.
What Ahriman was forced to focus upon was the green eyes that the Primarch sported. Unlike say Magnus, whose eye changed hues, it was clear that the green eyes of TalOS was holding some form of light and energy behind them. They were mystical beyond even his own occult understanding.
Ahriman had heard of TalOS at one point being able to predict the future. To see what had happened in the Istvaan System before Corvus Corax was ever a known factor. It was truly an inspiration to Ahriman and was something that pushed him further into his studies of Divination in the Corvidae.
He knew now that whatever he had studied under Magnus was not the same kind of sorcery that the one he admired practiced. The two having taken different paths that were unknown to the other.
“Ahriman, I wondered if your broken Father would have sent you into the lines of fire.” The being that was TalOS spoke as he raised a single hand. The Captain did not feel any changes in himself, but he quickly realized that time simply stopped for those that were around him.
Those that had joined him, members of his Cult of Time, had been turned into statues gripped by time itself.
Ahriman looked back into the eyes of TalOS and realized those words, “Broken?”
TalOS simply nodded to those words, “He is broken. What you follow is simply a shard of Magnus's Soul that was entrapped by Tzeentch. Whatever pieces that were missing are currently being filled in by the magics of Tzeentch.”
Such a powerful revelation was laid into the Astartes without care or worry. It impacted Ahriman like a freight and caused the fabric of reality to be questioned. But first of all, “H-how do you know?”
“Because I am C’Tan. I am the Omnissiah.”
