These Skinny Flippers are nimbler than Flounder Feeders, can match the speed of their pre-curve ancestors, and are able to reliably tumble in the direction of where a Lump Grazer can be smelled. Now, the Flounder Feeders, Skinny Flippers, and Shufflers are all competing for the same Lump Grazer population. If not for the increased number of Growth Lumps for them to subsist on, it’s likely the Lump Grazer population would drop and encourage fierce natural selection among its predators. For now, things are at an equilibrium.
