"Yeah. Not as quickly as I hoped, but..."
You look back at the sheer chaos left behind. If you were faster, your allies would have more forces left behind. Astamon would also have taken more hits if he clashed directly. At least you didn't have to rely on them to lay down all the firepower, he managed to destroy such a strong Digimon by himself. It wasn't a perfect kill, but you feel satisfied with it.
<span class="mu-s">"But nothing. I've said it before, don't worry about these things. Let's get outta here, I need a breather before our next target."</span>
"Good work out there. I think we can take him."
<span class="mu-s">"I've gotten strong enough."</span> He confirms. <span class="mu-s">"I feel it for sure."</span>
The both of you leave Hi-Commandramon behind and wander further into the district.

The sound of battle echoes from all around you. Eventually, you get back onto a high rooftop and observe the conflict. The insects have overrun the first set of attackers, and that squad is completely wiped out. You watch as a colossal creature smashes through a building.
<span class="mu-s">"Look at that. It cut that whole model apart."</span> Your partner marvels.
An entire building has been sliced apart, and it's now collapsing against another. That looks like catastrophic damage, which could only be done by an Ultimate-level Digimon. It's a grey monster that's as big as Deltamon, but it moves with superior speed, and somehow even more savagery. From afar, you recognize several of Kuwagamon's features from it. It has to be some kind of Digivolution, to be that large. The City's forces will have severe trouble in that direction.
Meanwhile, the plant Digimon that were getting bombarded have all retreated. The overgrowth is being destroyed by City Digimon, restoring functionality to the financial district bit by bit.
And lastly, the aerial Digimon dogfight has completely vanished. You don't see them anywhere.
You have to select your next destination. The path ahead is clear of major obstructions, but you haven't made good on the promise to Doc yet. If you don't provide him with the promised data, he'll take the gun back. That was the deal. You'll need to balance your mission progress and the risks you'll be taking with each venture.
>Try approaching the Insect Digimon. You can't go fighting Ultimates willy-nilly, so you'll try to avoid the super-Kuwagamon, but there are plenty of Rookie species to scan. Doc's partners are machine insects, he might like this data a lot, so you have confidence that it'll be settled once you obtain it.
>There's still plenty of foliage growth left. Look for weaker plant-type Digimon and scan them. They've become skittish after losing to the extermination team, so it'll take a while to find them, and you'll probably end up encountering the City Digimon in the process.
>Go straight towards the center. You don't want to take a detour, you'll have to bank on there being enough unique species on the road ahead to satisfy Doc. DarkTyrannomon awaits.
