At some point the dragon skeleton has you pinned down, but Chez jumps at it and prevents it from dealing a killing blow!
You then regain your footing and rush towards the dragon. With yet another distraction, this time from Ely, you manage to destroy the unholy creature!
"Everyone is alright?"
"A bit battered. Will survive."
Chez grabs a large bone from the dragon.
"Finally got me a weapon!"
"This place looks safe enough. We could rest here.", says Senara.
"I'll check that big bronze gate, maybe I can unlock it.", says Ely.
"There are weird carvings on the walls, chief.", says Chez.
You recognize this language as the Dark Language of the undead. The royal family and some wizards are required to learn at least a little bit of it. It is a highly cursed language, where each word unleashes ancient magical energies simply by being uttered. Even reading what is in these carvings could pose a risk for the reader, as the evil energies could take over the body of anyone who makes use of this unholy tongue.
