>>5245546Very good advice. I'd recommend playtesting it with friends before putting it publicly on Quest. It's a tale as old as time. You think you can handle this huge amount of work, and realise after a while that the idea of doing it is way more fun than actually functioning as a computer.
>>5245532You'll need a well-polished system that can become instinctive, in order to ease your workload. And organise your files properly. Workload is the biggest killer. I ran one where every turn, I had to take into account 9 different creatures and their stats, skills, their evolutions, how they interacted with other species on the 14x8 Hexmap, etc. Not to mention coming up with custom traits every alternate turn. Very satisfying, but not easy.
