Elly can't do much- she has no weapon or armor to defend herself with. All she can do is hope. She puts her hands up and falls back, hoping somebody will save her- that anything can protect her from this onslaught of evil. After a few moments, the spirit coming down atop her, a voice clearly rings out.
<span class="mu-r">"BEGONE!"</span>
Patches has stepped in; speaking with a loud and melodic voice that the spirit cringes from, as though its very tone harms it.
<span class="mu-i">"You have no power over me, wayward Shepard of souls! I own four- you own none!"</span>
<span class="mu-r">"BEGONE!"</span>
<span class="mu-i">"Arggh- be silent! I owe you nothing, do you hear me?!"</span>
<span class="mu-r">"Go to the hell that has been prepared for you below. BEGONE!"</span>
<span class="mu-i">"Grr..."</span>
With that, the dark spirit fades away within a few seconds- fading to nothingness. Jon quickly scoops up Elly, and calls Nasir over to help bandage the wounds.
<span class="mu-g">"Oh Jon... I was so scared! I thought I was gonna die for sure, and be trapped here forever. Oh gods- please don't leave me."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"It's ok. I won't leave you again. This is my fault, we got too arrogant. I'm right here."</span>
Elly cries, though Richard seethes from a distance.
<span class="mu-r">"...Blast. That spirit isn't like the others. It isn't seeking resolution or peace to pass on- it <span class="mu-i">wants</span> to haunt this place. It's a cursed thing."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"But you got rid of it, right?"</span>
<span class="mu-r">"...Only temporarily, Jon. I'm sorry. My spiritual authority isn't enough to permanently banish a spirit like that. It needs judgement from a <span class="mu-i">higher</span> power. This place isn't safe with that ghost stalking the halls..."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"We'll move as soon as Elly is ready."</span>
<span class="mu-g">"...Jon, I want to go back to our little house. Please."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Soon- I promise. Very soon..."</span>
