The first to speak, of course, was Magos L4M, “I suggest that we wipe the coordinates of Lucius from the Data-Drives and the minds of anyone below Magos. We cannot risk the location of Lucius getting out if her fleet is not fully prepared.”
“You suggest the destruction of information!” A voice that more closely resembled a growl escaped the voice box of Dux Dominus H3VST, “Yes it is logical but you forget how divine anyform of knowledge is!”
“It is not like I am suggesting the complete eradication of it. Our immediate soldiers and the Arch Dominus will have such vital information in hand.” Pointed out L4M as his voice gave a metallic click, “And I will also note that these are Psychic Xenos, H3VST, or did you forget the prelude to the invasion that the Arch Dominus discovered.
“If we start there it will only cause paranoia.” F0ST called out as he looked directly at L4M, “We do not have any Xenos infiltrators within our ranks or we would have been found out by now.”
The Tech Priests were now stuck staring at one another in a vain attempt at intimidation. These were some dangerous moments now as it was a theological problem coming up that could not be so easily swayed by reason. That was the issue with pure logic and reason, they sometimes tended to come up with heretical solutions to problems that did not require them.
“If we are so afraid of it being attacked then we should tell everyone over there to fortify it.” Called out Fredric Borius from the other side of the table, “Arch Dominus, I heard that you have been preparing some kind of divine ship that specifically works against Psychic Xenos?”
“That is correct, I will admit however that it is reaching the final stages of work. It will not have the desired effects for five more months.”
“But it does have weapons platforms.” Called out the Dux Dominus as he caught wind of their conversation, “And it is relatively close to Lucius, it would be hard to lose in transit.+
“There is still risk thanks to the Solar Winds.” Declared the Arch Princep as he adjusted himself for a moment, “We are also undermining the thought that Lucius can’t work on building its own defences.”
