Joe nods his head again. "This is really good. It's been a while since I had a good sandwich like this."
You can't help smiling even more! You look down at the hospital food and then look up at Joe and smile again!

You and Joe keep eating and Joe finishes his sandwich at the same moment that you finish the hospital food! Before Joe can say anything, you stand up from the chair and pick up the tray and the dishes and put them on the nightstand.
"Whose idea was it to wear that nurse's outfit?"
When you look down you realize you're still wearing the white uniform and the nurse's hat!
"Ramster!"
You take off the nurse's hat and unbutton the uniform and take it off and hang it over the back of the chair and then unroll your sleeves.
"I thought so. It's a good thing he's so clever."
You're nodding your head!

What? You aren't sure what to say? Well, why don't you ask Joe about his ankle?
You sit down on the bed next to Joe!
"How are you?"
"A lot better." Joe looks at you for a moment and doesn't say anything. It seems like he's thinking about something! He looks at you even more and you can't help <span class="mu-r">your cheeks</span> turning red! Joe is still looking at you!
You can't help looking away! Just as you start to look away Joe opens his mouth to speak. "I'm really glad you've been able to help me so much." Joe looks down and back up at you. "Charlie told me about how you two met. And how you got her to drive out and bring me back to the hospital." Joe looks out the window. "I've never had a friend like you before. I know you're a mon and I'm a human, but... to me, you're more of a friend than any human I've ever known."
Suddenly Joe looks away at the window! What? You think Joe had a strange expression on his face before he looked away? Do you think it's because-
Your hair reaches out toward Joe and then you reach out both hands and give Joe <span class="mu-r">a hug</span>!
What? You're hugging JOE? You didn't realize you were going to do it until you did it, but it feels really nice!

Suddenly you realize you have <span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-g">a strange feeling</span></span> in your chest! You don't know what to do! You can't help holding your breath because of the strange feeling! It's because it feels so nice to hug Joe because you really like him and because you know he really likes you!
