UZ1 felt her feet slowly scream in pain before the bionics that were incorporated with them took over. It was only expected when one has to travel for nearly an hour through uneven and alien terrain. The only saving grace was Limp, the Machine Spirit that she placed in charge of operating her vital functions. It also gave her the ability to think harder as the Machine Spirit took care of motor functions.
With this freedom of the body she was able to think to herself and study the terrain. Her mind quickly scanned what could be employed as cover or might be a resource to capitalize on. She compared what was being seen to the archives being broadcasted from the fleet above. There was sadly nothing that could be of real use.
As a ping of sadness went across her frame a ping from upfront hit her systems, +Adept, we have sighted the location.+
A second later UZ1’s vision transformed from her own to that of an entirely other person. With her motor functions being managed she was able to study what the Skitarii saw in full view.
It was a boxy structure that was of similar making to the area around it. If they did not have prior information from the Intel Extraction they likely would have passed over this location a great many times. They were fortunate however.

A series of signals went to UZ1’s Machine Spirits as she sent out those directives. Exiting the Skitarii’s view she found that the signals of confirmation were received on his Noospheric network systems.
The surrounding of the facility did not take long as the Skitarii ran around the area and locked down certain areas. Upon getting within fifty meters from the location the facility itself began to shoot out into the assembling troops with several forms of their laser fire.
She quickly counted three Vanguard Deaths upon the first barrage. But that only gave the Rangers enough time to send a series of retaliatory shots into the shooting ports of the Xenos. UZ1 was fed a quick feed of several locations where the Xenos were either shot at or confirmed hit was made. Such fire made it impossible for the Xenos to poke their heads out lest they lose them.
