>>5223567Glad to hear!
It's with the Para Para bros, they have it in a basket.>>5223568Can certainly do that!
>>5223567>>5223773A good idea.
And okay, day's cleared up a bit and things have settled. We are back!
>>5223562Dad decides to back out of combat, leaving Maple to take on Jewel. To his credit, he’s not backing down, but… yeah, not exactly expecting a surprise turn-around here. Jewel does show off some tricky skills, with Afterimages that seem to shine brightly as they’re hit. Problem is, Maple’s been wearing sunglasses thick enough to block a Solar Flare. And with her Spirit Bits hounding him, there’s little he can really do.
Though, Maple also seems to be using this moment to instruct and train him a bit, giving suggestions and comments on how to improve. You pay close attention to both how Jewel’s been fighting, and the suggestions Maple’s given to him, what with ideas like delayed afterimages, trying to pair it with Multi-Form, and a focus on speed to help keep him out of reach of his foes. In the end, though, he’s tossed out of the ring with ease.
“And that settles it! MAPLE AND ACER ADVANCE TO THE NEXT ROUND!” Pilaf declares.
Your aunt spins around and strikes a pose, little sparks from her aura jetting out. “Didn’t shine bright enough, Jewel! Better luck next time!”
“Can’t say the result surprises me, but that was still an interesting match.” Pantea tells you.
Hmm… next up is mom and Lazuli against Launch and Shao. You can already hear Baozi cheering for the latter two up from near Pilaf. Krillin and his wife fist bump before she starts to walk off.
>A. Good luck out there, mom! Whoop some butt!>B. Hey, Pantea, wanna image train while we watch the match? See how we might fight either team>C. Chat with Guldo and Recoome a bit, see if they have any insights>D. Something else?
