[ BEDOLFIR ]
The Gigantic God of Nature.
Bedolfir is an ancient giant who lived in the north. Whilst Woldor and his family are the goats that rule men, Bedolfir is something greater. His horns are like mountains that rest upon his stony countenance, and he is commonly called 'The Moose'. His hand governs worldwide nature, the planet would not be able to grow trees that produce oxygen without him, and the rivers would not flow. Tectonic plates would not move, and magma would not boil from the core, seeping upwards to form continents.
But long ago, on the nights of the Millennium Moon's arrival, the event that saw the disappearance of the Emperor, Bedolfir's wife, the Ice Giantess and goddess of the cold, Vymla, went missing. Confused and frightened, he searched everywhere in Hainei for her, only to eventually find a bony remnant of her corpse back home at Aflheimr, one he had overlooked, one he had thought part of the land. Sensing her deceased spirit in it, he became enraged. He is a raging titan that crushes all in his path.
For one, Bedolfir had never been the kindest to men. Humans pollute the environment, and seek to overtake nature with their cities and works. To counter this, Bedolfir was said to have invented "natural disasters" as a way for nature to strike back, with tornados, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions. His wife, Vymla, who in life was said to adore the tiny humans, would cool his angry heart down and make him relent, and for this men began worshiping both, forming cults. Though Bedolfir remained suspicious of men, and chose to seclude himself from them, even though they founded the village of Geostrateos to directly adore him. Though, there is said to be one man who Bedolfir truly befriended, who became a Demigod that worships him.
Vymla was always in touch with them, coming to visit Leitstein to see her humans, and mediate the interaction humanity had with nature. Bedolfir, in his paranoia, came to believe mankind had killed his Vymla in their insatiable struggle against nature. No other god had known of it, and Bedolfir could not procure proof of foul play. For the sins of he perceived humans to have committed, he swore to destroy them all for his Vymla, and came to blows with Woldor who came out to defend man in the battles he considered his greatest of all.
Bedolfir is said to have been driven back to Aflheimr by Woldor, and is now hibernating, waiting for a day in which he will awaken to resume his vengeance again, and Woldor has been preparing long for that day, seeking another clash of the gods. Bedolfir has a stony heart... he is hurt, and suffers from it. Nobody ever truly knew what happened to Vymla...
>What do I think of this titan?
