Whoever that is behind you can wait, you have to finish this one off before he can do any more. So, you jump forward, readying a feint to get him to move. Once he flips, you'll slam your sword into his side, cleaving him in two. But as you start your fake swing, he draws the shield up and swings it out, as if to swat your two-handed swing with only one arm and the shield. Leaving his entire body wide open. With a grin you draw your blade back, planting your back foot and thrusting the great sword forward. The masked man isn't able to flip away this time, your attack finding its mark. The great sword thrusts straight through his armored torso, that same blood-red energy spraying as if you killed him. “What?!”
“Die.” you say, kicking him off your blade and knocking his body tumbling across the ground. But then your instincts surge, warning you of danger directly behind you. As you kick off him, glancing back over her shoulder, you see that there's a skeleton swinging a broad-bladed sword at the back of your head. But this newer fighter is far slower, you throwing the sword behind your back.

The broad-bladed sword slams into your own, but her swing lacks strength, leaving it easily blocked. But then you see the first warrior starting to stand back up once more, seems he's still alive somehow. You want to finish him off, but this one at your back is still a danger. So you spin, whirling counterclockwise and swinging your heavy blade around. The skeleton woman tries bracing her sword against her left forearm. But despite putting her whole weight behind her blade, your attack strikes her weapon, sending it spinning out of her hands and slamming into one of the crystals on the far end of the room.
“WHAT?!” she exclaims, her skull helmet turning towards the blade. And in that instant of distraction you raise your sword overhead, ready to deliver a killing blow. But as you do, again your instincts warn you of danger. Before you can act on that feeling, however, the massive sword of the first warrior slams into your right ribs just below your armpit. The fires of the weapon burn across your Energy Body as the attack sends you flying, smashing into the wall a couple feet below the second's sword. Cracking the crystals, releasing the sword as you slide down to the ground. The second's sword falls, landing point-first down by your left knee and sticking into the ground. “Thanks for the save, dad.”
Wait, dad?
