"I know exactly where to send you. A tragic tale from over two hundred years ago on a planet far, far away. Kami once told me of it, as a warning of just how dangerous Sorcery can be in the wrong hands. Good luck, my protege." Garlic says, reaching out to turn the hands of one of the clocks backwards rapidly. The circle below you starts to glow more intensely, before a flash of light blinds you momentarily to the world. You hiss from the minor pain of your eyes having to adjust to the sudden light, blinking as your pupils vacillate between trying to contract and trying to dilate to get a clear picture of what's around you.
When you finally have sight again, you're certainly no longer on the lookout - you can smell ash and smoke in the air. Screaming people with pink skin and red hair move in a flurry past you, running away from something you can't quite see yet. Concrete buildings all around you show clear damage to them, some of them being entirely caved in or engulfed in flames, and the ground is shaking every few seconds for some reason. It's a chaos the likes of which you've never seen before, and your first instinct is to reach out to help an older man that stumbled from the crowd and fell over.
As you're helping him up, he looks up to you with confusion at your unusual features, before pointing behind you. "R-run! We have to run!" He shouts in a panic, and you follow his finger to a towering figure moving past the street. The creature is encased in a thick carapace that you're certain you wouldn't be able to even scratch with your full effort, and its head strongly resembles a skull - its existence practically screams that it's the incarnation of death itself, as evident by the positively overwhelming energy it gives off. Even Piccolo's humongous reserves feel like a drop in comparison to this creature, and it paralyses you in a moment of primal fear.
The giant stops where it is, turning to face you and the crowd of people fleeing from it. It opens its mouth up with a roar, and a blue ball of energy starts to form between its jaws. After just a few seconds, the energy lances out, swiping across the majority of the fleeing crowd and disintegrating everything caught in the blast in an instant. You move to dive for cover, but before you know it, the beam is upon you as well...
...And you find yourself standing in the middle of the circle of the Room of Time, covering yourself from a nonexistent blast and screaming from the residual pain. Garlic is looking at you with a frown, and he shakes his head with disappointment.
"That was less than a minute. We'll do it again, until we get it right. Remember, you don't have to defeat it...you just have to find a way to survive. Your desire to survive will draw the magic out of you." He advises, and while you're clutching your head and still trying to get your bearings straight, he starts to rewind the clock once more. This might take a while...
