TalOS looked upon his brother for a moment and studied him. Weighing what he was about to tell the man. He remembered, a little bit ago, the words that he had spoken with the Sigillite. He felt that if he spoke wrong this instant that he would doom both the Sigillite’s trust and damage his brother to the same misery that he experienced on a daily basis.
Neither of those he could do.
Would he lie though or make a simple declaration?
The Tech Priest took a moment’s more thought before he finally declared, “Those are matters you will not be privy to. You, the 20th, should be looking outwards into the galaxy.”
As if a spell was placed upon the unnamed Primarch he visibly relaxed. With a glide made his way forward and handed to TalOS the Blackstone with a flick of the wrist, “That was a request from Malcador.”
“And you follow them.”
“Secrets must be kept for a reason. The value might be the fact that they are secret, or it could be that the knowledge is in itself poison. I will see what I can accomplish, as you’re correct that I rely upon my gift too much.”
“Indeed.” Answered TalOS as he fitted the stone into place.
TalOS flicked a series of switches and covered the crystal in several thin layers of wire. His eye focused upon the artifact as the thin lines that would normally be used in a Gellar Field were tightened to make the Blackstone look suspended within the chassis of the device.
For a moment he felt something, but then it was gone. Still he could see the machine putting even more pressure into the warp than any other device he had in he held yet. A success in all fields of employment.
With a swift shifting of his hand the weapon was finally sealed and the hilt of the blade presented to the nameless brother. In a fluid motion the 20th flipped the weapon around and tested it out with a series of maneuvers and changes.
With a single flick of his hand the Primarch brought the blade to his face and examined it, “This weapon is perfect.”
“Then it is yours. Let our relationship be a fruitful one.” TalOS declared as he once again took a seat.
