She abruptly grabs everyone in a big bear hug and chucks them straight up with a Superpower! Orner, Kaz, Brook, Angus, and Wallis land on a high ledge with much calmer waters. Downstream, they can hear the voices of Ishmael and the others?!
>>5779320Espurr takes a calculated leap, of both logic and proficiency. The waterfall, while more dangerous than any of the Pokemon here, isn't long enough to hit terminal velocity. Or, it wasn't. Espurr is about to take much more damage than he would have normally...until the sounder half of his plan works as intended and softens the landing. Airborne masses of water with no surface tension slow Espurr ever so slightly, allowing him to only take 12 damage upon landing. He lands right next to Sail and Spike.
