>>5907129The game's setting was based on batshit insane dating sim settings. The ones where one girl is a ghost, one is a robot, one is an alien, and you kind of have to accept it and go along with it. I was trying to take this idea to its logical extreme.
Let's see, there were 4 main routes.
-Etsy (you saw that one, but not picking her might have caused her to become more unhinged and paranoid, eventually becoming a secondary antagonist.)
-Mona:
I kept that one as a write in option because of all the obvious red flag it had, but you would've ended up as an errand boy for whatever she wants, or in other words, her bitch. The quest would've probably ended up about how to escape her grasp or becoming her right hand man.
-Sawyer:
This one would've been more magic focused, you'd be able to get a much stronger sense of the magical world, your powers and the game. I can't answer TOO much, but let's just say that it would've been more of a political play than money play like with Etsy.
-Old Coworker: Yes, she was an option, and she was pretty basic. Would've happened if you decided to go to work back then (assuming you didn't fumble.)
Because she has no power or incredible skill like Etsy, it would've been a wholesome relationship about trying to protect her while she tries to learn ways to support you. A lot more scaled down than the other stories, but it has its charm.
There were also two other 'routes' I thought of for some very specific write ins, that both became unconfirmed rumors.
-One girl that you could've ended up with if you just decided to wait for death and shitpost on online forums all day.
-One girl that you could've ended up with if you tried to go into dark alleys to play hero for whatever reason.
So, yeah, structured like an honest to god dating sim.
>>5907356Etsy kept it, although sewing it back on is probably not an option. She just took it in case magic stuff could've helped attach it back on. I'm aware quests last a while on this board, but honestly I need a break anyway. Maybe a week? I want to draw a good thumbnail for the next thread too if possible, or a good enough one.
>>5907489This was a really hard boss, and I think I could've telegraphed his abilities better. If you were wondering, the best course of action was: disrupt his abilities against him & read him with MPR.
Devil's gamble bullets wouldn't have worked since it was shown he could create stuff that lost magical effects once they solidify, which he would've used for cover every time you did. Invisible bullets weren't a terrible idea, but still costly in magic, and it was assuming a fed supposedly specialized in taking out magical targets wouldn't have any way to protect themselves against bullets. The idea of saving your magic for pure defense wouldn't have been a terrible idea until you realize your physical stamina would've eventually ran out as he could spam his attacks without being interrupted.
