She shakes her head, as if she had woken up from a dream.
"This demoness is full of tricks. Don't listen to her. She can't do anything in the material world, because we have summoned her, and she's from another world."

You feel angry. If the demomn had entered her body, she would have never gotten it back. She would have died. You want to be united with her, but there's a problem. You have previously performed a ritual to attract the love of another girl: Chelsea. Now, you are tied to her by an invisible, ethereal cord. This is the meaning, of the Two of Pentacles tarot card: you are tied to two different girls. A shameful situation for a virgin sorcerer, but how could have you known that dating was so easy?

A circle of flames appears around the blanket. You can see the succubus inside of it, with you and Ava. She does not speak or move, but you can feel her desire to torture and destroy your soul. You know that she can't harm you directly, unless you allow her to. Demons can only torment mortals when the mortals allow them. What makes them dangerous is the power of their personality, which break the mortals' common sense and instinct of self-preservation.

The candles are blown out by the breeze coming from the cliff, and the feeling of otherworldliness disappears.

You fold the blanket and put the supplies back in your backpack. While walking, you think back about what happened. You accompany Ava to her doorstep, and leave to your tent. Now that the anger has dropped, you feel a bit of fear. This is the most dangerous ritual you've ever performed. The adrenaline rush has dropped, and you access 4chan on your laptop with trembling hands. You browse to the /x/ board, and post about your exploits. Unfortunately, no one believes you, and you feel isolated. You might have committed a major sin. By offering your connection to Chelsea to her, the succubus will be able to torment her. You don't know if this will taint your soul, but you think it was worth it. Ava is worth everything.
